Trail Refresh
On Saturday, May 16, we hosted a work day to refresh the trails. We were blessed to be the recipients of an Eagle Scout volunteer project and these scouts worked hard! They moved lots of dirt and gravel to raise up the trails to keep them dry and passable. It was a lot of work loading wheelbarrows and moving the dirt, but they worked fast and the results look beautiful! We can't wait to lead campers through the trails all year long without having to worry about tracking th

May Boy's Camp Re-Cap
On May 8-9 we closed out our Spring Boy's Camp sessions with an awesome camp! We had 6 boys at camp, include 2 first time campers. These boys brought the fun and the energy! At the beginning of the week, and even Friday morning, the forecast was not promising. We were preparing for lots of rain and planning some indoor activities, but thankfully, those plans were not needed! It ended up being a beautiful weekend. We started camp with some football and bike riding, before

Girls Camp Re-Cap - April 2026
We had our second spring girl's camp on April 24-25! We have 12 campers at camps, and 6 amazing volunteers! We are so grateful for our volunteers who pour into these girls with patience, grace, and joy. We kicked off camp on Friday night with crafts, then with an ice breaker and dinner. Following dinner, we had a scavenger hunt to find our s'mores ingredients. These scavenger hunts are becoming a highlight of camp! The girls loved their s'mores around the campfire (as usu

Boys Camp Re-Cap - April 2026
On April 17-18, we had another action packed boys camp! We had 7 boys at this camp, including two new first-time campers! Fears were overcome and all the boys enjoyed some time camping and playing in the woods. We kicked off camp, as usual, with an ice breaker, octoball, some basketball, an amazing dinner from our friends at Fort Johnson Baptist, and an evening scavenger hunt. The boys loved the scavenger hunt, with one asking to do this every camp! Unfortunately, once we

2025 Year in Review
What a year! Our 2025 camp season was our biggest and most ambitious yet. As we set out at the beginning of the year to plan our camp schedule, we always pray about what God would have us do through these camps, and how we can continue to grow our number of camps and serve as many families and kids as possible. We typically plan out the camp year in January, after the holidays and after we have some time to rest and process through the previous camp year. This is always a

3rd Annual Rocking for Respite
On Saturday, November 15, we held our 3rd Annual Rocking for Respite, with this year being our first at Low Tide Brewing. We once again enjoyed some great music from The Downtown Band. What a great day it was! We had a great turnout, filling up the outdoor seating area! This event started in 2023, thanks to bandmember Steve, and his desire to support Three Rivers Respite. He and his wife organized the entire event that first year. We have continued every year and the e

October Girl's Camp Re-Cap
What a way to end our 2025 camp season! This camp was packed! There is no way we could fit into this one article all of the pure joy, love, and beauty that defined our final girl's camp weekend of 2025. But we will attempt to provide a glimpse through this brief newsletter. We had 15 campers and 7 amazing volunteers for this camp. It was packed! From canvas painting to conquering fears and campfire worship led by our friend Lydia, every moment was special and each girl shi

October Boy's Camp Re-cap
This month's boy's camp was a little different, thanks to the new tent pads and camp area set up by our Eagle Scout friend, Levi, in September. This boy's camp was the first camp in the new camp area and also the first camp where each camper had their own single person tent. Furthermore, it was also the first camp (or rather, first time ever) that this camp counselor (Matt) slept in a hammock. Let's just say that one should always prepare for all types of weather when slee
