TRR Tent Pads

This past weekend, we were blessed by our friend Levi who completed his Eagle Scout service project at TRR. For his service project, he wanted to build a dedicated camping area behind the pavilion, complete with 3 tent pads, a fire pit, and space for 3 hammocks. It turned out better than we could have imagined!

They started Friday afternoon clearing out some space for the tent pads and the hammocks. Saturday, they built the tent pads and filled them with plantation mix. This provides a soft and elevated surface dedicated for tents.

We had 15 volunteers support this project and they made quick work of the tent pads, finishing in 3 hours on Saturday!

We can't wait to use this space for camps in October. This also supports our vision to provide dedicated space for foster families to camp together! It is a beautiful setup and area for camping.
