You read that right, on Monday, April 28, our Gouda gave birth to her first two kids. We have not settled on a name yet. We have not even verified the sex of the kids! We woke up Monday morning to Gouda in labor and within 30 minutes, she had two adorable babies. Heather jumped into action as the goat midwife, helping Gouda through the delivery process. Our kiddos woke up to a great surprise to see these two babies in the goat shed.

It was truly beautiful to watch the birth and Gouda spring into action cleaning up her babies and helping them walk. What a gift it was to witness this new life. If you have never seen baby goats, it is probably the cutest thing you will ever witness. We are excited to watch these babies grow and for our campers to love on these beautiful babies. We have found that animals can be therapuetic for campers. Campers love hanging out and walking with the goats. We know they will love hanging out with the baby goats too!

Our Brie is also pregnant and expecting in the next 3-4 weeks, so stay tuned for more baby goat cuteness!
