On Saturday, September 21, we held our 2nd annual Rocking for Respite with the Downtown Band! This event is quickly becoming one of our favorite events of the year!
We had a blast rocking the day away with friends of TRR. This year we moved the event to the Estuary in Johns Island and had a great turnout. It was also an ideal location for this event and we hope to return next year.
We shared the vision and progress of Three Rivers Respite this year and a brief snapshot of our plans for 2025 - keep an eye out for some big announcements in late 2024 and early 2025!
We shared the desperate need for foster families in the Charleston area and in South Carolina and how Three Rivers Respite can help wrap around foster families and children in foster care, to help provide love, hope, and healing through the foster care journey.
Overall, we raised about $10,000 through this event. This would not be possible without your support and generosity!
