On Friday, October 11, we had our Fall Overnight Girls tent campout. It was beautiful on so many levels.
The girls spent time around the cozy fire pit, singing songs, eating meals, playing silly games, making messy crafts, hanging with sweet animals, and a trip to the pumpkin patch.

The girls were blessed by Maddie, a gifted musician, who brought her guitar and led the girls in some campfire sing-alongs, taking any and all song requests the girls had. She was an inspiration for these girls!

Our joy truly runneth over for each of these girls. It truly was a sweet weekend and sweet time with them.
Their perserverance, strength and growth is inspiring. We laughed and cried together and longed for another night under the stars. The girls were asking to stay and camp for another night! (Note: this request is under consideration for future tent campouts!)
Big hugs were shared, and some tears were shed when our time was over. This time with this girls is truly a gift and time that we cherish.
We are so grateful for each of the ladies that came out to volunteer their time and love to make this weekend happen.
We look forward to more of these overnight camps in the future and for continued growth in the kids that come to camp. It truly brings us great joy!
